Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup McLelland® Extra Mature Cheddar (sliced)
  • ⅜ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 slices of bread

Optional:

  • Add any extras of your choice (bacon, turkey, tomato, etc.)

Directions:

  1. Heat a large frying pan over a medium-low heat.
  2. Generously butter 2 slices of bread and melt 1/8 cup of butter in the frying pan to coat the pan.
  3. Lay two slices of bread butter side down in the frying pan and a few slices of cheese to the bread.
  4. (Optional) add any toppings.
  5. Add more cheese on the other slices of bread.
  6. Cook for about 5 mins.
  7. Turn the sandwiches with a spatula and add a hazelnut size piece of butter.
  8. Cook slowly until sandwiches are golden brown.

Total Preparation Time: 20 minutes
