Grilled Cheese
Ingredients:
- 1 cup McLelland® Extra Mature Cheddar (sliced)
- ⅜ cup unsalted butter
- 4 slices of bread
Optional:
- Add any extras of your choice (bacon, turkey, tomato, etc.)
Directions:
- Heat a large frying pan over a medium-low heat.
- Generously butter 2 slices of bread and melt 1/8 cup of butter in the frying pan to coat the pan.
- Lay two slices of bread butter side down in the frying pan and a few slices of cheese to the bread.
- (Optional) add any toppings.
- Add more cheese on the other slices of bread.
- Cook for about 5 mins.
- Turn the sandwiches with a spatula and add a hazelnut size piece of butter.
- Cook slowly until sandwiches are golden brown.
